Gato Pingado

For those who love coffee, good side dishes and cats, Gato Pingado is certainly a great option to have all of this in one place. The house is located in Pinheiros, close to Cardeal, Rua dos Pinheiros and Teodoro Sampaio. There are nearby bus stops, taxi ranks and private parking lots in the region, as the café does not have its own parking lot. It is possible to stop on other streets in the region as well, but parking spaces are more difficult and you need to pay attention to parking spaces in the blue zone. The cafe has an accessibility ramp for wheelchair users, users of walking frames and those with low mobility and there are no barriers at the entrance, in the internal hall or in the external area. However, there is no easy access to the kitten area, so in the case of a disabled client, access is very restricted. The menu has great options for snacks, desserts and coffees and cold drinks. Everything is very well served and personalized with a cat theme. In the lower area is the catdrome, where you can pay to spend time with the kittens (this amount helps maintain the space, employees and cleaning), you can also get on the adoption list for the kittens and the team explains everything activity for you. It's very worth knowing.

I really enjoyed the experience at this cat café in São Paulo, but unfortunately it was very crowded and as the place isn't that big, it gave me a feeling of "rush" on the part of the staff, customers waiting standing for tables, etc... Everything What we consumed was very tasty and the way of serving food and drinks in a feeder is very creative! They have a partnership with an NGO and allow you to visit some kittens for adoption (you have to pay 12 reais for a 15-minute visit to help with the costs of keeping the kittens, I thought it was super fair).

I had a wonderful experience at Cat Pingado! the staff are all very receptive and kind, the cafe was full, but even with so much demand the baristas were super attentive and careful. Milena, responsible for the catdrome, was also wonderful to us and very kind! The food is beautiful and very tasty, the atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy. The kittens are cute and very docile, from what I saw, the cafe staff seem to take very good care of them. My experience at Gato Pingado was sensational and I intend to return more often. It's one of those places where we feel embraced, you know? congratulations to the wonderful team!! I really hope all the kittens are adopted and find happy homes! :)

Cute and comfortable environment, service was good, everyone friendly. All the kittens are so cute and it makes me want to take them all home 🥺 the day I went there were about 6 cats. The cheapest price to see the cats is R$12 for 15 minutes, I think the price is good. The kittens are in a very large space and there are also toys for visitors to interact with them. Food and coffee are served in these pet bowls 😹

We found Gato Pingado by accident. We were looking for another cafe. We decided to go in and find out. The environment is super stylish and they apparently care about every detail. The service is nice and the attendants are friendly. What I didn't understand was the charge of R$12 for 15 minutes, to see the cats that were for donation at the bottom of the cafe. Whoever came up with this idea didn't think much about logic. If you impose a price, many people will certainly give up seeing the cats. What is better? Letting customers decide how much they can donate or setting a price, making them give up on seeing the cats? Anyway. It's just an opinion. Other than that, everything was fine.
